Before I became Coach Keno, I was Keno the actor. For 15+ years I was able to share my open personality and character in commercials, televisions and films worldwide. If you think I have a familiar face, you might have seen me around.
Ever since I can remember, my life has been full of adversity. As a 17+ year survivor of kidney disease, I know what it means to stay positive and to keep moving forward. My 3 sons have been my reason to never give up and always seek progress.
Nowadays, I spend my time passing on the wealth of knowledge I have acquired to young adults and teens. If I can make someone else live a healthier, happier, more successful and fulfilling life, then I have done my part. I wish to lead young adults and teens into a version of themselves where they always make better, more informed choices that will shape their future.
Growing up in Compton, California has shaped my backstory and made me the loving and kind man that I am today. No matter where you are in life, there will be challenges that you must face. Living in beautiful and sunny California, just minutes away from the beach was a dream. However, even in such a beautiful place, life was filled with adversities. After graduating high school, I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to go to college, where I developed my passions for fellow mankind and learned that I have been always the happiest when helping others.
In all my endeavors, from acting to being a leader of young men, to the owner of multiple small businesses, I have always sought to help as many people as I can. That will always be a part of me. Now that I have lived a life I can be proud of, I want to pass on as much knowledge and information to the next generations as I can.
If you find that you are stuck in a place that seems hopeless, you are in the right place. Congratulations on taking the first step to becoming the best you that you can be. Keep reading to discover how I, Coach Keno will help you to become a person of 5-star character.
